According to Qatar News Agency, HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani engaged in a series of telephone discussions with regional leaders, including Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Lebanese President General Joseph Aoun. These conversations centered on recent developments, particularly following a ceasefire agreement between the United States and Iran, which has opened avenues for reducing tensions and furthering diplomatic solutions in the region.
During these discussions, HH the Amir reiterated Qatar's strong support for Lebanon, emphasizing a firm stance against any violations of its sovereignty and security. He condemned attacks on Lebanese territory and stressed the importance of prioritizing dialogue and halting escalation to ensure regional stability.
The newspaper also highlighted Qatar's proactive role in promoting diplomacy as the most effective means to resolve conflicts, calling for regional and international cooperation to contain tensions.
