UN Security Council vote on new Gaza ceasefire text postponed to Monday- diplomats


New York, A vote at the UN Security Council on a new text calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza was postponed to Monday, diplomatic sources said.

The new ceasefire text was meant to go to a vote on Saturday, but was pushed back to allow further discussions of the draft, the diplomatic sources added.

The draft resolution, in its current text, calls for an ‘immediate cessation of hostilities’ during the holy month of Ramadan that leads to a permanent and sustainable cease-fire.

Chinese President extends condolences to Russian President over Crocus deadly terrorist attack


Beijing, Chinese President Xi Jinping on Saturday sent a condolence message to Russian President Putin over the deadly terrorist attack.

Xi emphasized that China opposes all forms of terrorism, strongly condemns terrorist attacks, and firmly supports Russian government efforts in maintaining national security and stability.

Russian state-run RIA Novosti reported on Friday that armed individuals ‘opened fire with automatic weapons’ and ‘threw a grenade or an incendiary bomb, which started a fire.’ They then ‘allegedly fled in a white Renault car,’ the news agency said.

According to the Kremlin, Russian President Vladimir Putin was informed about the attack and is being kept updated on measures on the ground.

Klishas: terrorist attack on crocus is part of Russia’s war with the secret services of the west


Moscow, Russian senator,Andrei Klishas considered terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow is part of the war that Western intelligence services have been waging with Russia for many years.

At least 60 people were killed and more than 145 others were injured in the terrorist attack that took place on Friday evening at the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk , the FSB reported.

President al-Assad offers condolences to President Putin: We are determined to go ahead in our joint war against terrorism


Damascus, President Bashar al-Assad sent on Saturday a cable of condolence to Russian President Vladimir Putin over the victims of the heinous terrorist attack that targeted Crocus City Hall near Moscow.

‘We express our deep regret for the victims and injuries of the heinous terrorist attack that took place in Crocus City Hall near Moscow, President al-Assad said in the cable, adding ‘ we express our deepest sympathy and condolences to their families and relatives’

‘The cowardly attack that targeted innocent civilians shows a complete failure to make the Russian people abandon their principles or their adherence to the sovereignty of their country and the independence of its decision, and it is directly related to the cruel and painful defeats inflicted by the neo-Nazis and their supporters as a result of the special military operation in Donbass,’ the President said.

The President added ‘ While we condemn that this barbaric act and all the bloodshed committed by terrorists anywhere in the world, we reaffi
rm our determination to continue with you in our common fight against cross-border terrorism.’

Israeli aggression on Gaza Strip continues for the 169th day, dozens of martyrs and wounded


Occupied Jerusalem, Israeli occupation continues its Fascist aggression on the stricken Gaza Strip for the 169th day by land, sea and air, with bloody massacres and horrific crimes against Palestinians.

Palestinian media reported that 5 Palestinians were martyred, and others were injured, on Saturday dawn in bombardment the Israeli aircraft of houses north of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.

The occupation aircraft bombed various areas in the central Gaza Strip, led to the death of martyrs and injured dozens.

Palestinian Health Ministry announced yesterday that the number of victims of the Israeli aggression on Gaza since the 7th of last Oct. has risen to 32,070 martyrs and 74,298 injured.

Death toll from the terrorist attack on Russian Crocus City Hall rises to 115 people


Moscow, Russia’s Investigative Committee announced Saturday that the death toll from the terrorist attack targeting the Crocus City Hall in the capital Moscow has reached 115 people.

‘The emergency services have found more bodies while removing the rubble and the death toll now stands at 115 people,’ Sputnik news agency quoted the Investigative Committee as saying on Telegram.

The terrorist attack took place at the Crocus City Hall in the town of Krasnogorsk outside Moscow late on March 22, and the terrorists used a flammable liquid to set fire to the concert hall’s premises, where spectators were located.

In a phone call, President al-Assad offers condolences to President Putin over the last terrorist attack


Damascus, President Bashar al-Assad made a telephone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which he offered condolences, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Syrian people, to Russia’s leadership and people, reaffirming Syria’s support for Russia in the fight against terrorism and terrorists.
