New York, A vote at the UN Security Council on a new text calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza was postponed to Monday, diplomatic sources said.

The new ceasefire text was meant to go to a vote on Saturday, but was pushed back to allow further discussions of the draft, the diplomatic sources added.

The draft resolution, in its current text, calls for an ‘immediate cessation of hostilities’ during the holy month of Ramadan that leads to a permanent and sustainable cease-fire.

Beijing, Chinese President Xi Jinping on Saturday sent a condolence message to Russian President Putin over the deadly terrorist attack.

Xi emphasized that China opposes all forms of terrorism, strongly condemns terrorist attacks, and firmly supports Russian government efforts in maintaining national security and stability.

Russian state-run RIA Novosti reported on Friday that armed individuals ‘opened fire with automatic weapons’ and ‘threw a grenade or an incendiary bomb, which started a fire.’ They then ‘allegedly fled in a white Renault car,’ the news agency said.

According to the Kremlin, Russian President Vladimir Putin was informed about the attack and is being kept updated on measures on the ground.

Moscow, Russian senator,Andrei Klishas considered terrorist attack in the Crocus City Hall near Moscow is part of the war that Western intelligence services have been waging with Russia for many years.

‘I have no doubt that this attack is part of the war that Western intelligence services have been waging with Russia for many years’, Russian senator wrote on telegram channel.

Support for terrorists in the Caucasus in the 90s, the coup in Ukraine in 2014, the breakdown of the Minsk agreements, the destruction of civilians in Novorossiya, Russophobia, support for neo-Nazism, Crocus ,all these are stages of the same war with Russia and the customers are alone here,’ Klishas said.

At least 60 people were killed and more than 145 others were injured in the terrorist attack that took place on Friday evening at the Crocus City Hall in Krasnogorsk , the FSB reported.

Damascus, President Bashar al-Assad sent on Saturday a cable of condolence to Russian President Vladimir Putin over the victims of the heinous terrorist attack that targeted Crocus City Hall near Moscow.

‘We express our deep regret for the victims and injuries of the heinous terrorist attack that took place in Crocus City Hall near Moscow, President al-Assad said in the cable, adding ‘ we express our deepest sympathy and condolences to their families and relatives’

‘The cowardly attack that targeted innocent civilians shows a complete failure to make the Russian people abandon their principles or their adherence to the sovereignty of their country and the independence of its decision, and it is directly related to the cruel and painful defeats inflicted by the neo-Nazis and their supporters as a result of the special military operation in Donbass,’ the President said.

The President added ‘ While we condemn that this barbaric act and all the bloodshed committed by terrorists anywhere in the world, we reaffi
rm our determination to continue with you in our common fight against cross-border terrorism.’

‘We extend Our heartfelt condolences to you, asking God to have mercy for the victims, and for the injured a quick recovery’. The President said.

Occupied Jerusalem, Israeli occupation continues its Fascist aggression on the stricken Gaza Strip for the 169th day by land, sea and air, with bloody massacres and horrific crimes against Palestinians.

Palestinian media reported that 5 Palestinians were martyred, and others were injured, on Saturday dawn in bombardment the Israeli aircraft of houses north of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip.

The occupation aircraft bombed various areas in the central Gaza Strip, led to the death of martyrs and injured dozens.

Palestinian Health Ministry announced yesterday that the number of victims of the Israeli aggression on Gaza since the 7th of last Oct. has risen to 32,070 martyrs and 74,298 injured.

Moscow, Russia’s Investigative Committee announced Saturday that the death toll from the terrorist attack targeting the Crocus City Hall in the capital Moscow has reached 115 people.

‘The emergency services have found more bodies while removing the rubble and the death toll now stands at 115 people,’ Sputnik news agency quoted the Investigative Committee as saying on Telegram.

The terrorist attack took place at the Crocus City Hall in the town of Krasnogorsk outside Moscow late on March 22, and the terrorists used a flammable liquid to set fire to the concert hall’s premises, where spectators were located.

Damascus, President Bashar al-Assad made a telephone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin, during which he offered condolences, on his own behalf and on behalf of the Syrian people, to Russia’s leadership and people, reaffirming Syria’s support for Russia in the fight against terrorism and terrorists.

President al-Assad said It is not the first time that Russia has faced terrorism throughout its history and it has always emerged victorious.

Al-Assad affirmed that the recent terrorist attack in Moscow demonstrates that terrorist actions will not stop unless terrorists are completely eliminated,and that Daesh terrorist organization is the twin of Nazism.

President al-Assad said ‘we are confident that Russia will emerge victorious from this terrible experience, and we in Syria are waiting for its victory because we have suffered and still continue to suffer from terrorism, and the victory over terrorism and Nazism will compensate for the damage caused,’.

President Putin thanked Al-Assad for his sincere
feelings of sympathy and also thanked him for Syria’s willingness to support Russia in the fight against terrorism.

Putin asserted’When we are united, our goal will be achieved and victory will be won.’.

Damascus, Prime Minister Hussein Arnous offered condolences to his Russian counterpart Mikhail Mishustin over the victims of the terrorist attacks targeted the Crocus City Hall mall in Moscow.

‘On behalf of the Cabinet at the Syrian Arab Republic, I express the full solidarity with the Russian government and offer condolences to the victims of the terrorist attack that targeted the Crocus City Hall mall in the outskirts of Moscow’ the Premier said in a cable on Saturday.

Arnous said that the Syrian government strongly condemns this cowardly terrorist act, and it calls for holding its perpetrators, planners and supporters accountable, stressing its confidence in the ability of the government and the friendly Russian people to overcome this ordeal thanks to the wisdom of the Russian leadership and the patience and steadfastness of the friendly Russian people.

Arnous noted that the Syrian government affirms its keenness to consolidate cooperation with the Russian government in confronting international terror

Damascus, Speaker of the People’s Assembly, Hammouda Sabbagh, sent two cables of condolence to the Chairman of the Russian State Duma, Vyacheslav Volodin, and to Valentina Matvienko. Speaker of the Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation .

Sabbagh expressed the People’s Assembly’s condemnation of the cowardly terrorist attack that targeted the Crocus Mall in Moscow and led to a large number of casualties and injuries .

The Speaker expressed complete solidarity and deep feelings of sadness and pain with the families of the victims, wishing a speedy recovery to all the injured.
