Al-Lith Governor Inspects Yalamlam Miqat, Ensures its Readiness to Receive Pilgrims


Makkah: The Governor of Al-Lith, Imran bin Hassan Al-Zahrani, visited the Yalamlam Miqat today. The Yalamlam Miqat is spread over an area of 10,000 square meters and can accommodate more than 4,000 worshipers. The purpose of his visit was to assess the miqat’s readiness to receive pilgrims and transport them to Makkah and the Holy Sites. He also inspected the preparations and arrangements made by the concerned authorities to offer the best possible services for the pilgrims.

During his visit, the governor assessed the services and facilities at the reception hall. This hall, established through a partnership between the branch of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and the National Aquaculture Group, covers an area of 6,000 square meters. Services provided include medical clinics, a central restaurant, awareness and guidance screens, and the distribution of 10,000 meals and 500,000 bottles of water to the Grand Mosque visitors.
