Foreign Minister visits BIBF

Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa Academy for Diplomatic Studies (MBMA), visited the Bahrain Institute of Banking and Finance (BIBF) where he was welcomed by Dr. Ahmed Abdulhameed Al Shaikh, CEO of BIBF.

Ambassador Dr. Mohamed Ali Bahzad, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Consular and Administrative Affairs, was present.

The Foreign Minister toured the institute and praised its advanced educational facilities and infrastructure that provide students with an educational environment equipped with modern, global, and future learning methods and resources.

The minister lauded the prestigious scientific level of the institute and its distinguished cadres, praising the interest of the executive management in academic cooperation with the best foreign universities.

BIBF’s strategic role is providing the specialised vocational training for individuals and institutions by qualified personnel with expertise in the labour market, he said.

He stressed the need to advance cooperation in the fields of education, digital transformation, and sustainable development to broader horizons, in addition to preparing future leaders and investing in them in a way that contributes to strengthening the position of Bahrain in the field of specialised training and human resources development.

BIBF CEO welcomed the Foreign Affairs Minister, praising the national diplomatic cadres and their keenness to achieve the best for the country in accordance with the objectives of the comprehensive development process, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

He affirmed that the Institute is constantly striving to activate the tools of cooperation with all government and private agencies to develop the government work system in a way that contributes to raising the level of services provided to citizens, by delivering the best training services that meet the needs of national cadres.
