Natural and Health Sciences Research Center at Princess Nourah University Completes 166 Scientific Research Papers

The Natural and Health Sciences Research Center at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University completed 166 scientific research papers in various natural and health fields during the past academic year. The center also contributed to developing new research tools and methodologies as part of its efforts to build a high-quality research force, encourage and nurture research and scientific activity in natural and health colleges, and support the Saudi Vision 2030 by promoting innovation and diversity in the research sector. It aims to enhance the role of universities and research institutions in developing projects that align with global research fields and trends.

The center includes 26 laboratories, among them six chemistry labs, six physics labs, and 14 biology labs, each featuring a tissue culture room. The center also houses a database center and 20 animal incubators with all the necessary equipment, including operating and sterilization rooms.

The research center provides research, training, and consul
ting services, such as access to the latest devices and advanced analytical methods for researchers across the Kingdom to complete their research. It focuses on lifestyle and health behaviors through lifestyle and health research management, which aims to bridge the local and regional gap in this field by conducting research, providing training, raising public awareness, and facilitating knowledge transfer related to lifestyle and health research. This is done by incorporating it into both curricular and extracurricular training programs at schools and universities, creating electronic resources for research tools in lifestyle and health, organizing scientific conferences, workshops, and training courses, and attracting scientists and researchers.
