Saudi Cultural Activities Shine at the 43rd World Scout Conference in Cairo

The Saudi Arabian Boy Scouts Association delegation made a vibrant contribution to the 43rd World Scout Conference in Cairo, which features 176 Boy Scouts from around the globe. The event, running until August 23, included an international evening where the Saudi delegation showcased the Kingdom’s rich cultural heritage.

The Saudi scouts presented a variety of activities, including traditional Saudi hospitality with Saudi coffee and local dates. They also displayed official national men’s attire from different regions of the Kingdom, shared local popular dishes, and distributed images depicting the Kingdom’s development, traditions, and customs. Additionally, the delegation presented examples of popular Saudi folklore.

A photo exhibition was also part of the delegation’s showcase, highlighting the Saudi Boy Scouts’ community service efforts, including their contributions to serving pilgrims and Umrah performers as well as their environmental initiatives. These activities were well-received by Boy Scouts and
conference participants from various international institutions and organizations.
