Taif Reflects the Cultural Expression and Identity of the Region

Under its blue sky, Taif is an exceptional and intimate place, with its green lands and mountains embracing the clouds drawing masses of tourists, visitors, and famous Arab and international writers.

Located at 27,000 meters above sea level, Taif’s ecosystem is unique; it has natural habitats that are home to hundreds of types of aromatic plants and trees, as well as to many species of wildlife that live in its lush shades.

Al-Hada and Shafa mountains attract tourists with their historical status. More than 80 villages, associated with the residents of the Tihamiya and Sarat areas, are perched on these mountains. Fertile land and abundant water are crucial to the wide variety of crops produced there, the most famous of which are Taif roses, berries, apricots, peaches, pomegranates, figs and grapes.

The tourism sector contributes substantially to the economic development of Taif Governorate, which is implementing many tourism projects, including hotels and resorts, integrated residential complexes adapte
d to the environment, and rural development according to international standards.

Taif’s landmarks reflect all forms of cultural expression and identity of the region.
