Two Holy Mosques Authority Organizes Workshop on Improving Transportation Experience at Grand Mosque

The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque organized a workshop today titled, “Improving the Experience of Tawaf ( Circumambulation) and Sa’i in the Grand Mosque,” aiming to empower national companies to enhance the pilgrims’ experience.

The authority seeks to design and implement a transportation system for the Grand Mosque, especially for performing the rituals of Tawaf and Sa’i, based on best practices, to provide a distinctive experience for over 7 million beneficiaries annually.

Through Mobility Services Management, the authority provides mobility services within the Grand Mosque in Al-Mas’a and Al-Mataf areas and the roof, through golf carts to transport the elderly and persons with disabilities. This includes 5,000 regular and electric carts linked through the “Tanaqul” application and operated according to systematic plans.

Mobility Services Management monitors and operates golf carts for transporting the elderly and persons with disabilities,
oversees the maintenance of the carts, and is implementing a new service aimed at facilitating the movement of the elderly and persons with disabilities from the two holy mosques, which involves providing 50 golf carts on the roof of Al-Mataf.
