The General Directorate of Traffic has inaugurated the ninth technical examination centre for vehicles countrywide.
Located in the area of Arad, the centre is also the sith facilities for examining light vehicles. It has a capacity to process 150 vehicles per day.
The opening of the “Lazer Centre, follows the directives of the Minister of Interior General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa to engage the private sector, in line with the 2023 Bahrain Economic Vision and the Government Action Plan.
The newly-opened facility has been given the go-ahead after fulfilling the necessary technical conditions, requirements and standards, and qualifying the staff through training courses under the supervision of the General Traffic Directorate.
