His Excellency Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al–Thani, Minister of Commerce and Industry, participated in the activities of the World Government Summit 2023, which was organized by the United Arab Emirates under the theme“Foreseeing Future Governments” from 13-15February 2023 in Dubai.
The Summit brought together a distinguished group of state leaders, heads of government, ministers, senior officials, decision makers, thought leaders, and specialists in commercial, industrial, investment, and economic affairs from around the globe.
During the Summit, H.E. the Minister of Commerce and Industry, attended a number of the Summit’s main sessions, including high-level and specialized dialogue sessions. Additionally, H.E. met with H.E. Najla Bouden Romdhane, Tunisian Prime Minister, and the accompanying delegation. During the meeting, officials touched on the bilateral relations between Qatar and Tunisia and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in various fields such as trade, investment, and different industries, all while exchanging views on the Summit’s agenda topics.
H.E. Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al-Thani highlighted the successful economic policies Qatar has put in place to support the private sector, and pointed out the incentives, legislations, and promising opportunities that are aimed at encouraging investors, businessmen, and business owners to invest in Qatar.
