H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, has received Dato Erywan Yusof, the Second Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Brunei Darussalam.
Held in Dubai, the meeting discussed ways to boost bilateral relations between the two countries, as well as a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern.
During the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah praised the holding of the first UAE–Brunei Darussalam Joint Committee Meeting, highlighting its importance in activating cooperation and constructive dialogue to help advance the common interests of the two countries and benefit their peoples.
He also noted that the bilateral relations are witnessing continued development, supported by their leaderships’ keenness to enhance cooperation in all fields.
In turn, Minister Yusof praised the UAE’s leading status at the regional and international levels, and underscored the close ties that the UAE and his country share, and their keenness to boost their cooperation.
The meeting was attended by Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, Minister of State; and Khalid Ghanim Al Ghaith, UAE Ambassador to Malaysia and Non-Resident Ambassador of the UAE to Brunei Darussalam.
