KSrelief Continues Implementing Surgical Voluntary Program in Cameroon

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) continued its implementation of the surgical voluntary program in Maroua, Cameroon, in collaboration with Al-Balsam International Organization. The program, which began on May 20 and will run until June 2, 2023, involves the participation of 22 volunteers.

Since the commencement of the campaign, KSrelief’s volunteer medical team has examined a total of 605 cases and successfully performed 303 surgeries in various specialties, including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, plastic surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, as well as glandular and breast surgery.

This endeavor is part of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to provide humanitarian and relief aid to countries and peoples in need across the world, through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief.
