PSA Satellite Squash Tournament wrapped up Thursday at the Khalifa Tennis and Squash Complex, with the participation of 16 Qatari and international players.
Waleed Zaman claimed the title after beating Qatar’s Salem Al Malki 11-6 14-12 11-6 in the final match.
Secretary-General of the Qatar Tennis, Squash and Badminton Federation (QTSBF) Tariq Zainal supervised the crowning ceremony. Executive Director of the QTSBF and Tournament Director Saad Al Mohannadi and a crowd of squash lovers were also present.
Al Mohannadi congratulated the first and second placed players, hailing the technical level of the event.
Al Mohannadi also stressed the federation’s keenness to provide the highest level of organization in accordance with its vision to develop the game in Qatar.
