Doha: In their Thursday editorial, Qatari newspapers focused on several key topics in the local and Arab arena, with a primary emphasis on HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani’s participation in the 33rd session of the Arab League Summit of Heads of State, which will be held in Bahrain on Thursday. This participation underscores Qatar’s commitment to unity and enhancing Arab cooperation to achieve the aspirations of the Arab people.

The newspapers also highlighted the vibrant cultural activities in Qatar throughout the year, noting the most prominent one is the ongoing 33rd Doha International Book Fair, which plays a significant role in aligning with Qatar National Vision 2030 aimed at developing a knowledge-based economy.

In Arab affairs, the newspapers marked the 76th anniversary of the Nakba as Israeli occupation continued its attacks on Gaza and settler aggressions in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem.

Al-Raya newspaper stated that driven by Qatar’s belief in supporting Arab and Islamic joint
action and its concern for the region’s security and stability, HH the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani will chair Qatar’s delegation in the 33rd session of the Arab League Summit of Heads of State in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The newspaper noted that His Highness’s participation underscores Qatar’s leadership, government, and people’s dedication to deepening Arab cooperation, solidarity, and joint action, especially given the critical circumstances facing the Arab nation, particularly in Palestine, amid the 7-month ongoing Israeli aggression.

Al-Raya affirmed that under His Highness’s leadership, Qatar consistently champions Arab concerns in every forum, taking leadership to broaden Arab action for the benefit of Arab peoples through openness, increased consultation, and coordination to address common challenges.
