Riyadh: The capital city Riyadh on Thursday will host the CIPS MENA Conference for Procurement and Supply Chains with the participation of experts and decision makers the field of procurement and supply chains in the public and private sectors, and international technical systems companies.
The conference, hosted by the Government Expenditure and Projects Efficiency Authority, reflects the status of the Kingdom as a house of expertise in the field of procurement and supply chains, with the topics on the agenda including building sustainable supply chains, supporting local content, localization of procurement and supply industry, current challenges of supply chains, and the digital transformation in procurement.
The conference also focuses on building partnerships between procurement organizations in the private sector and government agencies, targeting specialists in the field of procurement and supply chains in the public and the private sectors, decision makers in the field, and procurement technical syst
ems companies.
