As part of ?Plant Million Tree? Initiative, the Ministry of Municipality, represented by the Public Parks Department, organized several agricultural events with the participation of numerous fans of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
in the course of the celebration of the said event, tree seedlings were planted in various locations in the state, and some other seedlings were offered to the visitors.
The participation of the Mondial spectators in ?Plant Million Tree? Initiative aims to provide a positive picture of the efforts of the State of Qatar in the field of increasing the green area, with the aim of preserving the environment and achieving the goals of sustainable development.
Several other events will be organized for World Cup fans to participate in tree-planting events within the ?Plant Million Tree? Initiative.
